Know the date of Installation of Your Windows OS

In this article I am focusing to installation date of windows OS.

You may want ot know, how old is your OS or any other information related to your PC.

Normally windows does not provide information about the installation dates of your OS.

However you can see the date of OS installation,by using command prompt you can do it and know whole details about your OS.

Just normally open command prompt window by going to(Run->and type CMD).

Now you enter the below command like as,

C:\>systeminfo

Hit enter button.

It will look up for system information.

Now you search the OS installation date.There you will find exact installation of your OS(system)

Not only this, you can see like as

Time and date system startup
Computer name
Product ID(code)
BIOS Version

Hide Your Important Data’s From Unauthorized Users

Hello Readers!,I hope you all enjoying every post from HAACKSDAILY.NET.

If you want to hide your important data’s on your PC,perform the given steps to hide or protect your system data.

First of all you need to be logged into your computer with full administrative rights.

Click start->Run and type Cmd and hit enter button to open command prompt.

Now you type diskpart and press enter button to appears diskpart utility.It will show the list of volumes,now you type list volume ,after diskpart>prompt,this command will show you all system drives details.

If you need to hide G drive (for example),then you type select volume 4 and hit enter button.After loading volume,type remove letter G to hide G drive.

Now exit the command prompt and open mycomputer to verify drives.Finally next time ,when you want to unhide the G drive,just type assign drive G command after loading volume 4.

How to Find or Know Last Shutdown Time in Your PC?

If you want to know exact last shutdown time of your PC.Just do the following steps,
Goto start ->Run.Here you type compmgmt.msc and hit enter button.A computer management window will open.

First you click on “Event Viewer”on the left side of the window,under you click “Windows logs”

After then you click “system” double click it will be open.It shows some system files,scroll down and find out the EventLog with Event ID 6006,it will show you correct time and dates of last PC shutdown.

Format USB Drive Using Command Prompt

In this post i am gonna teach you how to format USB(Pendrive) by using command prompt.Here Command mode means terminal mode.Just follow the below steps to format your pendrive in seconds.

How to format USB Drive?

First goto command prompt like,

Start ->Run -> Cmd .Hit enter button.

Then command prompt will appears on the screen.By using format command you can format it your PenDrive.

Then type format j: /FS:FAT32 Here j is a drive letter.More information about format command in command prompt type help format.
